Question

TWO LH surges.

TTC a year now and 4th round of Clomid.
I've been using clearblue digital OPK's. The ones that give you a solid smiley face when LH surge is detected.
My question is this. I started testing CD 9. Then on CD14 I got a solid smiley face.
I had another set of tests so I was curious and kept testing with a new reader....well on CD 18 I got another solid smiley face....can you HAVE LH surge TWICE in a cycle or was one a fluke???

Yes you can. If your body geared up to ovulate, and then didn't, then it will try again, so you will have another LH surge.

So do you count 10 days from the 2nd surge before taking a pregnancy test?

U can have multiple surges whether u have O'd or not. What days did u take the clomid?

Clomid was cd 5-9.
I go tomorrow 5/7/15 for my CD21 progesterone level check so I'll know more then I guess .

Unfortunately theres no way to pinpoint which surge released the egg and which was just a surge. They both fall within the normal range for O after clomid. For me, the one on CD18 would be legit, but I also wouldnt have one before that. When did u surge with the previous 3 rounds of clomid? They tend to stay in the same CD range so u could guestimate by that. Otherwise, if there's no BFP this cycle, def look into temping next cycle.
Good luck with the BW tomorrow! =))
