Am I really having a miscarriage?

I have a 25 day cycle and was due AF on Friday 1st May but it didn't come. I got a BFP on Sunday (16 DPO) which was quite faint. Yesterday I did another test and it was BFN. I phoned the clinic and was told by nurse it sounded like I was having a chemical miscarriage and not to do anything. I have a few before but never like this. I am now on 18DPO and still no AF and have all pregnancy syptoms including Morning sickness and severe dizziness. Can anyone help me? Could I still be pregnant even thought I am getting BFN? or will I have a miscarriage and it is just taking its time. It is as if someone is playing a nasty trick on me after 7 miscarriages in the past as my body still thinks I am pregnant. PLease help?

It could take up to a week for blood flow to fully kick in, unless u take daily hot and o later than thought?

I am so sorry for your previous losses. If I were you and think that you may still be pregnant contact your doctor and see if they can check your levels. This way you won't be playing a guessing game in ur head. That would be enough to drive anyone crazy. They should be able to give you an answer as to what's going on after the results come in. However, if you cont to keep feeling dizzy or it gets worse I would go and get seen, not to scare you but that could be a sign for ectopic pregnancy. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thank you for your replies. I am going to contact my doctor and get checked out as the longer it goes on, the more my little bit of hope grows but I know deep down that it isnt right. Thanks again.

Hi Emma - sorry that you are going through this. I would also recommend making an appointment at the docs.The blood tests are more sensitive than HPT's so you should get a definitive answer.
