6 weeks 2 days, miscarriage?
Hello,
I went to the urgent care centre last night night with bleeding after having a wee, and i'm left confused.
The gp I saw said I could have a scan on Tuesday, and didn't seem overly concerned. I rang the early pregnancy unit this morning and was told I need 2 hcg blood tests two days apart before they will get involved. The gp said there's no sign of infection/ectopic and as there's no pain he isn't too worried yet about miscarriage but cant reassure us.
Just wondered if anyone has any advice / similar stories?
Today I've gad a bit of pain that feels like trapped wind, but no blood since. The blood was bright red, not overly heavy but it was continuous for about 4wipes. Worried sick at the moment:(
Thanks x

I had a scan at six weeks with my daughter and there was a chorionic haemotoma (a little area of bleeding) next to the gestational sac. Baby looked fine with a good heartrate but the technician warned me that either the little bleed would be absorbed by my body or I would expell it so I could expect some bleeding which may give me a fright but is very common due to implantation in early pregnancy. I never actually did bleed. Don't panic yet but it would be nice if they could ease your mind with a scan as the reassurance is just as important as any reason in my opinion. I'm going to trust that all is well with you and I wish you the best. :)
