Question

Help deciphering ovulation date.

I had light, brown spotting intermittently on April 24, starting in the morning. The timing was a little early for ovulation bleeding based on my cycle, but only by a couple of days. In the past, I've noticed a bit of pink blood when I've ovulated. Do you think the fact that it was brown this cycle could mean that I ovulated on the 23rd or perhaps sometime overnight? In other words, is it likely that the blood in my CM was 12–24 hours old by the time I noticed it?

You should try to use an ovulation strip. I bought some at a local drugstore and I believe they sell them at dollar stores. They can help you figure out when you're ovulating.
