Question

I'm pregnant and dpo with pain on my left side. Is something wrong?

I got a positive digital at 10 dpo but my dye pregnancy tests are so pale still I am 2 days away from my next AF. Yesterday and today i have been having consistent pain on my left side, i did not have any bleeding or spotting since my last AF. My concern is could this be an ectopic pregnancy? I have had 2 cesareans from my 2 previous pregnancies. Opinions please.

Ectopic is always a possibility, but I would assume its the corpus luteum (leftover follicle after the egg is released). I had pain on my right side with DD til about 8-ish weeks, and have it again with this one. I'm not so sure there would be pain involved with an ectopic this early on...dont take that as fact tho, I've never had an EP. It could also be intestinal. U can have pains in the lower large intestine that feel like ovary pain, and the rectum which feels like uterine pain. Things start to slow down there, so slight changes can be noticed. I wouldnt worry just yet, make a mental note (as if u could ever forget about it) and ask ur OB at ur first appt, or sooner if ur really worried.
Congrats! =))

I had the same thing. I am not sure why but if there is no bleeding, I would take it as a good sign that your little bean is digging in! Congrats! You are going to have a bit of cramping you are not used to. Uterus is going to grow so you will have growing pains.

I went to my dr today and they are sending me for an us just to be sure other then that she said she would see me at 8 weeks. They also did a urine test and it came back negative but i showed her my test and her response was that thier tests are not very sensitive. AF due in 2 days.

At this early date, it is extremely unlikely that you would have any pain from an ectopic, even if that was what you have. I would assume it's the corpus luteum you're feeling. That or some constipation. Congrats!!
