Now that you are Pregnant you should immediately start taking prenatal vitamins. Normally first ultra sound will at 12 weeks. But if you had any problems ..they will do it during 8 week.

Start taking prenatals immediately - you especially need the folic acid.

First ultrasounds are usually at the first OB appointment, around 8-10 weeks gestation.

Also, there's a sister site to this one called countdownMYpregnancy.com - where you will probably find a lot of answers.

Congrats!

In my opinion as soon as you started "Trying" you should have been taking prenatal vitamins. Start asap! I had my first ultrasound at 8-9 weeks to confirm my due date. It really depends on your doctor. I didn't know when my due date was because I thought I had a "period".

Thank you ladies! Also been struggling with major headaches, what is the best non medication way to help relieve them?

Congrats! Yes, take prenatals now. Had my first ultrasound around 9 weeks or so. My best remedy for headaches during pregnancy was Breathe right strips. Don't worry, hon. Enjoy your little bean! Relax, pray and enjoy! *luck&prayers*

Acupuncture works wonders with headaches. Agree with KristyBurlew, prenatal vitamins at lightning speed. Women are advised to take them at least 3 months prior to the start of TTC. Congrats!
