6 Days late but negative pregnancy test. Can I still be pregnant?

HI! I have a 21 Day cycle. I have never been late once. My husband and I have been TTC since December. I am 6 days late for my period and have taken a hpt every day from 3 days late. All have been negative. I am exhausted. had a headache for two days and nauseous. I don't want to get my hopes up but it's hard not too! This would be our first baby and we both are trying not to get our hopes up.... Has this happened to anyone? and should I make a doctor's appointment for a blood test to confirm?

You should definitely get a test. HPTs are not fool proof, quite the opposite actually, and, even if you aren't pregnant, you need to know as soon as possible if something else is wrong causing you to miss your period.
