Am so confused!!!!help

Hi everyone,I took birth control pills as a substitute for morning afters,took 2 and the other 2 after 12 hours,this was 2 days after my last period,iv never used birth controls before!after 8 days of a late period I stated spotting a bit for maybe 5 mins a day for 3 days,my period normally takes 2 - 3 days and its never that heavy,I was also cramping a bit and there was a bit of discharge ever since two days before my due date(I always get discharge before my next period so it seemed normal)
I took 2 pregnancy tests so far and they both negative and I don't have any pregnancy symptoms,am so confused......please help
