My friend told me to use soft cups after you DTD paired with preseed lubricant. All are available at the drug store. Google soft cups and preseed to aid conception. I am 7 dpo with this method...no BFP today but it's still really early. Good luck!!

Improved nutrition, vitamins, and supplements are especially important when TTC around age 40. This will help improve egg quality. You might want to start acupuncture also to aid blood circulation. Best to you.

You could try a double iui. Instead of 1 iui at 36 hours post trigger you could do 2, 1 at 24 hours and 1 at 48. You could also try injectables, like gonal f or follistim, instead of letrozol to try to get more than 1 mature egg follicle. Were you on progesterone supplements after the iui? You could also try boosting your progesterone afterwards to help support a pregnancy with oral, vaginal or injectable progesterone. Have you tried a baby aspirin regime? A baby aspirin a day during and after an iui round could help to increase blood flow to your uterus.

I like using coconut oil because it doesn't harm the sperm and isn't time sensitive so there is more fun TTC. Also try relaxation CDs and breathing for stress and worry. Some herbs that are safe to take are red raspberry leaf tea, maca, spirulina and such. Here's some baby dust for you!

Hi - I sympathise, Im 39 this year, have tried 6 months of clomid followed by IVF both unsuccessful, I have this morning started acupuncture, my therapist is fantastic and also gave me 3 more options to consider- Letrozole, tamoxifen and gonal F + Trigger.
I read reports of ladies with very low amh, who weren't ovulating getting pregnant with acupuncture so thought it was worth trying. I was not aware of these other options until he informed me.
