Question

I was wondering if your cervix gets thicker when you first get pregnant? I'm about 4-5 dpo.

My cervix feels like huge now. I am 4-5 dpo but I think I'm off by a couple days. Is that normal?

After ovulation, your body will always prepare itself for a pregnancy, so wheather conception has occurred, or not, your body will be doing the exact same things for the first week. Therefore any symptoms within this week can not be credited to a pregnancy, but to the progesterone in your system.
