Ah sorry to hear your despair, have you spoken to your doctor? Reflexology will help relax you and if you can join a gym or go swimming to help with weight.
Good luck xx

I finally conceived my first baby after almost 7 years. I also have pcos and my dh has a very low count. After 7 clomid cycles, 4 iui's, 6 rounds of ivf and 3 miscarriages I am now 30 weeks pregnant. I went through some very dark days when I thought all hope was lost and I just wanted to give up. In the end though perseverance paId off! Cry it out when you need to cry, it's ok because it sucks to go through that pain and disappointment again and again. I found that finding women on here to talk to and support me really helped. Also, I saw an infertility therapist with my dh a few times when it got really bad. A great destresser for me was power yoga, so I also recommend finding something you enjoy just to relax and destress.

I'm sorry I can relate to how you are feeling. I was diagnosed with ocos 10 years ago. It took me 2 and half years to get pregnant with my daughter and have been trying for 6 and half for number 2. I am currently on my 5th round of clomid this month. I found out in November I was not ovulating on my own. Have you talked to your doctor? Does your bbt chart show ovulation? I know it is hard but don't lose hope.

I too have Pcos I was diagnosed 5 years and put on metformin 500mg three times a day. I too lot hope at one point I tried clomid only to be told by a fertility consultant it isn't good for PCOS as it can cause cysts to come back or increses. I stopped the clomid as it did this for me. I had a scan last year after loosing some weight to discover my cysts had gone I also had blood tests which said all hormones are now normal. I have re started my BBT charting and CM and TWW spotting and back on it.
It is ok to feel the way you do and even take a little break but don't loose hope it can happen. Good luck to you.

When you say you've tried everything - what do you mean by that? Have you gone on a PCOS nutrition plan? Have you done metformin? Clomid? Femara? Injectibles? IUI? IVF?

If you are not ovulating then there is no chance. I would maybe go to a different doctor and try to get on clomid. Focus on losing weight and exercising while you wait. I have heard a lot of woman with pcos say when they lost weight they started ovulating on their own. Not the case for me I am on clomid currently but I am ovulating with it. Clomid has made me gain weight though. Best wishes.

I would try searching for other doctors as well who might be more willing to do more for you. Also, have you looked into weight loss surgery? Insurance might cover some if you are severely overweight and if you have other severe conditions as a result of being overweight. Sometimes you have to go to extremes to get what you want. I never thought I would end up going through 6 IVF's but I had to do what I had to do to reach my goal of becoming a mom. PCOS made it almost impossible for me to lose weight as well and I am only about 10 pounds over the normal range for my height. I have been able to lose to weight without metformin but it was tough, I basically had to restrict my calories down to the bare minimum while still remaining safe, cut out all sugar and carbs completely and get in at least 3-4 intense hour long workouts a week.

I dont have PCOS but have been trying to conceive for almost 2 years. Unexplained infertility, 2 different medication regimes and 5 iui's later, still no baby. I know how easy it is to fall into a dark place. With everyone around me getting pregnant so easily, I was headed to a very dark, dangerous place. I had to take a stress leave from work (I am a labour and delivery nurse) and am now seeing someone who is helping me work through my sadness and anger. It has actually really helped me. I still struggle, but I have hope again, and I smile more. I highly recommend it.
Working out is a huge de stresser for me as well! I take out my anger at the gym now instead of my husband! Try accupuncture, the gym, therapy and really try and take care of yourself emotioanlly first and maybe it will help! I wish you all the luck in the world!!! And know that we are all here for you in one way or another!
