Could I be pregnant? Early pregnancy symptoms.
Started spotting/light period a little over a week ago. I am a nuvaring user, so I thought this was weird. I went to check and ring was gone. No idea when/where I lost it. We had unprotected sex (pull out method) around day 14/15. A few days after period, severe bloating and slight cramping. Have been having bad lower back pain and headaches. I wasn't really trying to get pregnant and certainly wasn't expecting this. But now I am hoping it happened. Anyone ever experience this? with any kind of birthcontrol? I didn't think if you had a period you could still get pregnant, but I am learning that I may have just started bleeding due to hormonal shift. Period not due for a week.

I had the same problem this month - but I'm on the pill that may have failed due to a stomach bug. I had ALL the symptoms since I O'd (which I never usually feel) lots of low back pain, gassy, nausea, headaches, everything smelled terrible, dizzy, light cramping, vivid dreams, hot flashes - you name it!
I even had a few drops of brown blood at 8-9dpo - so I stopped BCP right away thinking it would hurt the baby (if that was implantation bleeding). Because of this I got a withdrawal bleed 3 days later (for 3 days, heavy then light) and maybe HCG wouldn't have been high enough to stop it yet. I still feel sick, headaches, dizzy, smells etc but all tests say BFN. My actual af wouldn't have been due till next week either.
Not sure what to think - I'll test again next week but I probably "flushed" the embryo out (if there was one) with all the blood anyway. But then why do I still feel so ill?
Let me know how you make out too - seems to be a similar situation!
