Question

Calling all IVF ladies, I need some advice...

I'm starting the new trend mini IVF soon. I've never done IVF before. All my children I've had no problem conceiving but now I have blocked tubes. I'm trying to see if there's any ladies out there that got pregnant on their first round of IVF and about how many eggs to transfer. I've been pregnant 5x already so I'm very fertile. Just the blocked tubes now prevent future pregnancies unless I do IVF. With having many successful previous pregnancies increase my chances with IVF? I'm so scared but so excited at the same time.

I went through IVF 6 times before success, currently 29 weeks. If you have any questions about the IVF process I have pretty much done/been through it all! I got pregnant on 3 of my first 5 rounds but miscarried, I had never been pregnant prior to IVF though due to not ovulating, my dh's low count and I had immune and clotting issues which likely contributed to the miscarriages. Seeing how you have conceived easily in the past and don't have trouble carrying a pregnancy IVF should work fairly well for you. I always transferred 2 or 3 but had trouble getting them to stick, so if you are particularly fertile I would just stick with transferring 1 good one.
