16dpo HCG Levels only at 51, Dr told me not to get my hopes up
Hi all... Ive never posted on any type of forum or question board before and it makes me very nervous but I honestly feel crazy right now.
I had my first miscarriage on 03/03/2015 at 12 weeks and we were told we didn't have to wait to try again. I tracked my temperature for the first time after the miscarriage and it indicated that i ovulated on March 11th. I got my first positive on March 29th and have taken 5 positive tests since. I went to the doctor yesterday and was sent for blood work (at 16dpo), they got the results back today and asked me to come in to discuss them. The Dr told me my HCG levels were at 51, that this was too low, and not to get my hopes up. My progesterone was fine (I asked him to test for that when I went for blood work).
From what I've read, having a low HCG level this early does not necessarily mean i am going to miscarry again right?
I go for more blood work two days... :(
