Question

What doctor do you need for help getting pregnant?

I've been trying to concieve for 6 months using donor sperm and at home iui performed by my DW. Each cycle has been well timed using +opk and temping. We have not had a BFP yet. We are now wondering if we should seek the aid of a Doctor. And if so what type of doctor? Any help would be greatful! And aslo when calling to make an appointment what do I say?

You should probably see a fertility specialist - or OB/ GYN that also does fertility counseling and provides services like IUI. Not sure but it could be that your lack of success has to do with the fact that you are doing home inseminations. Best is to tell any dr exactly what you are trying to achieve and ask for recommendations. Best to you.

Thank you very much. So I have an ob/gyn office in my town that offers level one fertitly counseling. Should I contact them and see about setting up an appointment?
