Question

Feeling lost...OKP, TTC

I'm on my 6 month of TTC and have started using the OPK this cycle, I'm currently on CD16 and haven't got a positive yet...will it happen after today or is it too late?
I have had a small amount of wetness/egg whites discharge this morning but that's it... I normally have a bit more.
Through out this whole process I haven't received a positive test on anything i.e. Preg test, OKP etc I'm starting to worry a little and I feel lost.
We have followed SMEP is round and have BD every second day from CD 8 and then every day CD13,14,15 just to be sure. ( I was however testing my OKP first thing in the morning which was wrong I know... I just re read the instructions CD15)

I think I need to see my GP to get tested egg / sperm levels?

It's an awful feeling of not knowing....
Thanks

If u were only testing first thing in the morning, it's very possible that u have missed the surged and u already ovulated. There's really no way of knowing if u have or not at this point without getting ur progesterone levels checked. I highly recommend using opks multiple times a day and starting to chart ur bbt. At this point, 6 months isn't that long. Most docs want u to wait til uve been ttc for at least a year.

How long are your cycles? If you have a longer cycle you might ovulate later. Or if you have a short luteal phase... Try using the OPKs in the afternoon and/or evening. You might still catch it this cycle!

Like a previous poster said, testing once during the day, it is possible to miss your surge. I test at least twice a day, usually at around 10am and 4pm. If I think I'm getting close to O I will test more often! I've tested negative at 4pm, positive by 7pm, then been back to negative first thing the next morning!
