No personal experience sorry. Just wanted to offer you a great big hug! Have they scheduled another scan for you? Seeing a heart beat and growth is good. Maybe you just ovulated a little late.

Just wait. I think ur doctor is not good. At 6 weeks it is too early for heartbeat to show. Don't take any step like d n c. If u r miscarrying then u will bleed. Be happy u r pregnant. Have a positive feeling. Everything will b fine. Just pray. Take all ur vitamins no time. Take rest.

I hope this isn't the case sweetie, a week off doesn't sound that bad and baby's heartbeat doesn't start beating until around 6 weeks anyway. So it sounds about right to me.... keeping everything crossed for you hun xx

Well went in today for another ultrasound, I should be 8 weeks along now but baby stopped growing again and heart rate decreased to below 40, so D&C scheduled again for wednsday. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement, between family dog passing away, my moms cancer returning and now this I think I need a change of luck. I had resigned myself to have the D&C on Friday, but this glimmer of hope really sucked.

I would request another ultrasound before allowing them to do a d and c personally.

My doctor always does an ultrasound before performing the D&C just as a precaution, that's how we detected the heart beat to begin with

My cousin went through the same thing.. She didn't let them do the d&c.. Sometimes they are wrong.. Now she has a healthy baby boy.. My advice just wait.. If ur baby has a heart beat and is still growing give it a chance.
