I fell pregnant using clomid 50mg first month. I ovulate regularly but used it for a little help as it took a while to fall preg with #1.
I took it days 5-9. Felt overwhelming moodiness days 7-9. Not usually moody and knew what i was feeling was ridiculous. When i was ovulating felt a little crampy. Got a few headaches which weren't too bad.
Im 5.6 weeks now so early days.

I took it in 2013 when ttc #2. I did 2 rounds at 100mg, 1 at 100 & 150mg and 2 at 150mg. I O'd on my own, it was strictly for a boost. I got my BFP on round 5. I didnt have any side effects as far as headaches, moodiness etc, but after a couple rounds of it at those doses, it did start to affect my lining. Cycle 5 I started taking estrogen after the clomid was done, and that was the BFP cycle.
Fast forward to this year, I started at 150mg, again, still O on my own, just taking it for a boost. I did 2 rounds at 150mg with an estrogen and nothing but BFN's. The side effects this time 'round, were horrible. Still no headaches, but I could've killed anyone and everyone, then sat in a corner and cried about it. I was so bitchy, I couldnt stand myself. I have since switched to other stuff, I dont like feeling that way.
Make sure not to start using OPK's until 3 days after ur last pill. U can have false positives while on this drug.

I am on round 4 of 50mg days 5 Thru 9. First month I had horrible bloating and super sore boobs. Side effects have calmed down besides hot flashes. I have pcos and was not ovulating on my own. I did ovulate on cycle 2 with clomid but not 3. Am waiting on blood work results for 4.

Thanks! Ive prepped my dh for all the negative stuff! I have just been having nausea, I can handle that.

I am super bloated, gassy, headache and emotional. A coworker came up to me and asked me how far along I was.......really!?! I cried. Im bloated so I have a little pooch going on but don't ask that! Trust me when I am finally pregnant I will let everyone know!

oh that is horrible. Dont feel bad I stay so bloated on Clomid especially after ovulation that none of my jeans fit and I also look 3 months pregnant.

ckry28 any updates?? I went in for US Wednesday. No follicles at cycle day 14......little bummed. She said it could just happen later
Last night I had a major migraine, knocked me about! And I have cramping today. Follicles possible growing later, is that a thing? Can i feel them grow? I dont know.

Yes I started 100 mg of clomid this month. On cd 12 I got a very positive opk test and a very bad migraine. CD 12 test was still positive. Which suprised me because I usually do not get a positive until cycle day 16. Well I never had a temp shift on BBT chart, my first month charting, so I kept testing with opk, They turned negative and then back very positive on CD 16 and 17, which is today for me. So I am guessing I had a false positive on CD 12 from the clomid.

It is possible, keep testing with opk. I have had a migraine from CD 11 and still have it, so Yes I do believe that can be a sign of the hormones going to work. Good Luck, keep me updated.
