Question

How to not spoil the test secret?

I am 11 dpo, so still waiting to test.. But been feeling definitely not normal:

At 5 dpo I was cramping bad through the night, and 6 dpo I had pink spotting. Extreme thirst which continues since 7 dpo. Massive fatigue since then and headaches off an on. Nausea for sure.

My boyfriend and I are treating this like we are.. And he is really excited. As soon as I had a few symptoms he told his friend we might be pregnant, against my wishes.

I can test on Friday and his friend is visiting from out of town and staying with us. I just want to make sure things are good and clear before we announce things, but I feel like my boyfriend is going to spoil it. How can I test and keep it a secret? They are staying with us for a week or so.

Advise for an over eager spouse?

Not that I'm not excited, I just am cautious.

I don't know if I understand your question right. Anyhow, unless you have a positive pregnancy test in your hands there is nothing to announce. Tell him to keep his mouth shut unless there are two lines visible on the test stick. Test on Friday and go from there. Best to you.

How to keep it a secret? just don't tell him i guess. Go to the bathroom and POAS. BTW when you do get pregnant your BF is going to have to learn how to respect your body and your wishes. Anxiety and a big mouth does not a happy prego lady make.
