Could i be pregnant

so.. i was on anti-biotics AND had alot of late nights FULL of stress and alot of family bs, and stupidly forgot a few pills(the pill)hubby and i did the deed a few times during this time. then my husband was put into hospital and i started to get a bit sus and decided while hubby was away to stop the pill temporarily. usually i would get a break through 3 days max without the pill but... nothing.still nothing, and i did a test which showed a dark line in the "test" area then it disappeared within say 20 seconds. then all i saw was a white line with a super thin coloured line. i have never had this happen, in the past it has always been very obviously and permanent 1 line or 2. please help!! all comments VERY welcome.
Also i have been experiencing quite a few early pregnancy symptoms similar to my first pregnancy, is it all in my head??
