Is a blood test worth the time?
Took 3 frer tests yesterday all with really really faint but pink lines... Test today with FMU (although not very concentrated BC I'm thirsty ALL THE TIME) is still faint, maybe even BFN. I feel like I want to go spend more money on tests but I also feel I could just call my doc and get a blood test ordered... With my son I had a clear positive on a frer with an hcg of 24 so idk if it's really worth the time to do a blood test or not...Background info, I had spotting on Saturday that never progressed beyond that and I am 4 days late for AF...

I would try the frer 6 days sooner first. A qualitative blood test is no more sensitive than a hpt. But a quantitative blood test may be helpful. To save time and money you could buy the frer 6 days sooner which has a sensitivity of 12.5 miu as opposed to the standard 25 miu of most early result tests.
