New to clomid... Need help
Hello ladies so my last cycle (Feb 28-march 3) I started clomid for the first time. Day 3 of my cycle. I have always done OPKs & gotten positives (been TTC for a year) so this time I did the usual OPKs-- I started early cuz I wanted to see if the clomid was working.... (Started cycle day 5) anyways that day I got a negative... Then bam I started getting positives which I assumed was the clomid working.... Figured when I finished the clomid i would ovulate & it would turn negative. Well on day 10 or 11 of my cycle I got my usual positive but this one was crazy bright positive (never had a positive so explosive lol) so I assumed I ovulated BUT I'm continuing to get positives!! Both lines are the exact same color no matter what time a day I test.... So what gives??? Any ideas or advice?? Oh and the day before I got that crazy bright positive I had ovary pains... Headache so I'm pretty sure I did actually ovulate the next day... Thnx for all your help!!! Baby dust to ya all....

Clomid can affect opks which is why you shouldn't start testing until 3 days after you finish the last pill. My doctor was very clear about that (I finish on 7, I shouldn't take a test until 10). You should ovulate 5-10 days after the last pill, although it can vary. I use the digital OPKs because it's always hard for me to tell as my lines have gotten darker on the Clomid. I've had as many as 5 positives in a row but I always get a solid smiley the day before I O (I temp to make sure). You should consider temping if you don't. It really helps to be clear on O date.
