Question

2 DPO and burst of horribly sharp PMS like cramp...normal?

Hi everyone - please share your thoughts with this anxious momtobe... Went for my spinning class this morning...2 DPO... And experienced horribly sharp burst of pain within the first 5-10 mins of the class... It went away gradually and right now I'm experiencing nothing... Is that weird?

Quick history: TTC 1 since oct 13.. On clomid 100 mg cycle.. (First cycle was 50mg which did nothing...this is second cycle) 32 yrs old...have PCOS and therefore irregular cycles.

How sure sure are you that you are post ovulation? Some months I can feel when the egg bursts and it can be quiet painful. I've also had cysts on my ovaries burst. This can be super painful as well, though in my experience when this happens its very painful for several hours!

Thank you for replying...I've been checking anxiously to see if there was a response...
To answer your question: short answer- my RE told me that my ovulation is 4 march.
Long answer- I've gone to the RE regularly to see the development of the follicle and the positive reaction to Clomid... On Monday mar 2nd the follicle was missing on the ultrasound but the blood work indicated that I am yet to ovulate... OPKs were all negative throughout... She told me it happens sometimes with clomid... The kits don't respond well... So on mar 2 she told me the ovulation is mar 4... And then going back to my original question, that I had this pain on mar 6... It just seems too early for anything... But might be my period? I'm psyched :(

I have heard of people having ovulation related pain after using clomid.
Did your RE mention any cysts? Ive also heard people say that when on clomid they have had cysts grow at the same time. Though Ive never used it myself, so hopefully someone with personal experience will comment!!
I do know that since TTC, Ive noted down every twinge, cramp and pain and sometimes there's absolutely no pattern to it!
At 2DPO even if conception occurred, your not 'pregnant' until implantation has occurred. So it would still be too early to say whether its pregnancy or period related.
I have my fingers crossed for you :)
