Question

When to test for pregnancy?

I had a d&c on January 6 and then some bleeding from 1/13-1/18. My doctor told me that was not considered a period since any bleeding in the first 4 weeks can be related to the d&c. I then had my period on 2/8-2/12. I know I ovulated on 2/20 but because of the d&c I'm not sure how long my cycle should be. I know before they were 28. When should I test for pregnancy? I've tested a few times and they were negative but I've been having pregnancy signs since end of last week. I want to wait a bit but don't know when to try testing again.

Sorry for your loss. I'd wait until about 16 days past ovulation and test from there. It might be that you have some weird cycles for a while. Fingers crossed for your BFP! :)

Thanks so much. I'm feeling things early that I've not felt before. It's hard to tell if Im super sensitive to everything like when I felt ovulation pain even more than usual also (this has been since my d&c) or am I just hoping to be pregnant so bad I feel it. Hopefully it is the first. I was proud that I was able to not take a test this morning like I have obsessively done the previous 3 days lol
