Could I be pregnant? Or just a nutcase with a really bad case of baby fever?
I just went off birth control mid-January and had a normal period on February 4th. My sex drive sky-rocketed for about a week (2/13-20), so DH & I had unprotected sex multiple times. I felt fine until the 2/20, when my breasts started hurting A LOT. My gynecologist said he suspected the breast pain was due to ovulation. They gradually felt better until around the 2/28, when I experienced a few minutes of low pelvic pain. I've taken multiple pregnancy tests over the past week and they all say negative. My period is supposed to show up within the next 24 hours, but I don't even have any light spotting yet (which, for me, is a normal precursor to the actual period). I'm so confused and tired of feeling totally crushed and depressed every time I get another negative. Is there any hope that I still might be pregnant?

If you had sex during your fertile window (which it sounds like you did), then you have a chance. Some people don't get positive's as early as others... Try waiting a few days to see if your period comes before testing again. I know waiting sucks, but those negatives suck worse, in my opinion. Good luck!!

Try not to get your hopes up, it could be possible but the symptoms could be due to hormonal changes. I went off birth control (nuva ring) in December and in January I was CERTAIN that I was pregnant. I literally had every symptom on the list it was insane. Turns out it was just hormones, as my period (though late) showed up early February. My cycle also increased from 28-30 days my first cycle off. I have no idea how long it will be this cycle but I have been temping and it may even be longer than 30! I guess we will see! Just stay positive! Good luck to you!

I went of the pill beginning of January and had 2 normal periods. I ended up getting pregnant shortly after that in early february and am now 6w4d. I didn't think I would get pregnant so soon off the pill but I did! some of what you may be feeling may be hormonal changes but may be pregnancy too. I didn't get a good positive until the night after I missed my period, and took 3 more days to get a positive digital. Hang in there!
