how soon will i get my period after i get off birth control???
Basically i was only on birth control for a month, but i had to quit due to horrible side effects. I was on it from January 12, 2015-March 8th, 2015. My period is due today on 3/3/15; but has not shown up yet, should i be worried or just wait it out and see how it goes? I dont have any feeling or signs that my period is coming. The only real thing im dealing with is very sensitive breasts. I did have unprotected sex a few days after i got off the pill. So im not certain if pregnancy would be an answer. Has anyone else been off the pill and had to wait a long time til their period came? Or did anyone end up getting pregnant right away after getting off the pill? Any answers would be amazing!

I think it is different for everyone. The first time I got off birth control after 15 years I was 1 week late for my period, then went right back to clockwork cycles. The 2nd time I got off I had only been on it about 4 months that time and I was only 1 day later than normal starting my period... and I ovulated right on time the next cycle... but they say normally you should receive your period within 4-6 weeks after you stop. It is also possible that you could be pregnant if you have been having unprotected sex after stopping. You could test once or twice a week until you either get a positive or get your period if you are concerned about it. Good luck!
