Anyone use ovulation test as pregnancy test?

I'm irregular in my cycles but normally about 28. Today Is cd 28 and no period. So I tested with the clear blue ovulation stick and got positive. Could I be pregnan? Anyone have similar experiences?

No, never done that. OPKs can be positive during yr luteal phase because it measures LH and LH can be present whether you are pregnant or not. Test with a pregnancy test. It's reliable bec it detects HCG which is ONLY present if u are pregnant. Best to you.

Thanks. Maybe i should practice patience. Waiting for hubby to pick one up but since i had ovulation test i used it. Just hoping and posting while i wait. :)

Ok...got a BFP. not slight pink but dark pink lines. :)
