Question

2 days late for AF and still only getting VERY faint positives.

I am 2 days late for AF. The last 3 days I have tested and got VERY faint positives on all of them. My husband can see them as well, but they are so faint we don't want to get excited yet. Shouldn't they be getting darker? Anyone have an expierence similar to this?

You might not like my answer, but thought I should share my experience. I have been pregnant 4 times, and always tested from the day AF was due, then every 2 days. In the 2 pregnancies that were viable the line always got darker. In the 2 that I miscarried (around 5 and 7 weeks) it always stayed faint, without getting darker. You are still very early days, so I would just test again every 2 days and I'm sure you'll see they get darker. It may depend what brand of test you're doing. I preferred the First Response. fingers crossed x

This can very much depend on the brand. I found wondfo dip strips didn't get very dark when frers would. But with my chemical, I never got a very dark line. If you can, test with another brand if you haven't already. Fx!
