Question

how to track period after miscarriage?

I have the iphone app "iperiod" and since March i have been tracking my period on there and my husband and i were trying to get pregnant since then well in June we found out that we were pregnant, i missed junes cycle and early July i found out that i had a miscarriage..how do i continue to track my period?..if i just keep going, and skip june like i did, it throws my averages off. but ive only had 2 periods since then and we are trying again so my averages arent very effective.. I tried on my husbands to just "fake" junes and put it in when it was expected and used my average..but im afraid it might be off..so on mine i tried starting over..but its only an average of 2 months..any help would be great. and also any advice or tips for trying again after a miscarriage would be appriciated. Thank you!

First of all, very sorry for your loss :(
The app I use on my phone is called PinkPad and in the settings, there's an option to ignore cycles beyond a certain length. See if your phone has that option. Even if not, I would still only put in the real information. You never know, the average may still be correct. It may automatically exclude the long cycle. Have you had AF yet since the mc?

Also, have you heard of the SMEP? Definitely worth reading about. It's basically a plan for getting pregnant and its supposed to be very effective for women after a mc. Good luck!
