Question

I lost my baby at 11 weeks on Saturday

Is it normal after 3 days / a week to still be experiencing tummy cramps and the most awful night sweats where I wake up absolutely soaking wet? I started with pains and slight bleeding on Wednesday and then I lost my baby at 11 weeks on Saturday and just want to know if it is normal to still be having tummy cramps?

I'm so sorry about your loss. I had a d&c so I can't comment on the miscarriage itself but being 11 weeks, your uterus will be contracting back to it's pre pregnancy size. It might be that you still have a little of the pregnancy products left inside and you uterus is trying to flush them out as well. Look after yourself and if the pain gets worse, you have smelly or discolored discharge or you have a temperature go back to the doctors. Thinking of you Xx

I'm sorry for your loss. I also had a miscarriage (my fourth) at 11 weeks and I bled for three straight weeks. The sweats are hormonal and can last awhile. Other then the initial pain/discomfort of the miscarriage for me was two to three days of pretty intense cramping, you shouldn't continue to have pain, bleeding yes not pain. If it continues I would go back to the dr.
