Evap line?

I had sex on Feb 4th and I was really impatient so I tested a week later and I used a FRER and it looked like there was a faint line and when it was held up to the light there was like a shadowy line. I know it was way too early. And I opened it up today Feb 13th and there was a line. I know you are supposed to get rid of them, but I have heard of people still being pregnant even after having that result. I am going to test again Monday the 16th which is 12 days after I had sex. And 2 days before I am supposed to start my period. I guess there isn't a question here more like what are your guys experiences?
