As long as it's not green you should be great! It sounds like egg white cervical mucus (makes strings between your fingers) which is really fertile stuff. You should have sex on those days, for sure.

I had my BFP last Wednesday and will be about 5 weeks pregnant tomorrow. Not sure if during pregnancy this is something that is linked to the development of the mucus plug or what, but I wasn't sure if it was normal as DD is 3 years old and I couldn't remember any of the early times I was pregnant with her because she was a surprise.

I've had three children and with my middle child (the only boy) I had sooooooooo much cm I actually had to wear panty liners through out my pregnancy right until the end. Maybe it's a boy??? ;)
