Bleeding but HCG still doubling
I'm wondering if anyone has been through the same as me? I got a faint bfp 1 week ago after spotting for about 7 days. The spotting continued for another 3 days but then turned heavier. I went to the EPU who scanned and said they could see nothing. Had my bloods done which showed 54. The bleeding lasted for 2 days and contained small clots and stringy blood. The cramps were like my usual period pains only not as bad. I usually have super heavy bleeding during AF. I'm now on holiday with my family and was asked by the EPU to get my bloods rechecked 48 hours after my level of 54. I was convinced the level would have decreased but to my surprise it was 97! I have another appointment at the EPU on Monday morning. I've had no more bleeding, only some light spotting and no pain. I'm going crazy wondering what's going on?!?!

Thank you for your reply, yes- my progesterone was 8 when it was taken 5 days ago. There's nothing much I can do at the moment other than wait I guess. The strange thing for me is that my boobs have become really tender and feel heavy again, just like they felt before I got the bfp.
