Should I wait until V-Day to tell my DH I'm pregnant?
We have been trying for two years and it finally happened today. I am completely shocked it is unreal... I know my husband will be ecstatic. I went and bought a gift box and all for the surprise. I want to tell him immediately but he is in the Army and gets home late and leaved for work by 430am. He would still be excited but he works long days and he'd be tired and I think it would put a damper on our celebration. Valentines Day is this Saturday and would be so fun to give it to him as a gift... But a whole week of silence seems like forever! Plus Ill need to tell him my period came today.. haha, what do youthink?

Well that was rude baby brain! If you don't have something nice to say don't say anything. You know what hon, two years is a long time to wait for this special gift so you do what you think your hubby will appreciate more. You must be so excited. I am the least romantic person on the planet so I'll leave suggestions to the many ladies who know better than me about this stuff. I just wanted to say well done and congratulations. :)

If you can hold on to the excitement of finally getting a bfp till Saturday, I say wait till vals day to tell him. It will be an unforgettable vals day for him and I can imagine how special it will make that day for him. I feel it is a wonderfully romantic thing to plan and no one should make you feel bad about even contemplating him.
I also had plans to wait till I could come up with some special way of telling DH when I finally got my bfp but I freaked out on seeing that tiny pink line and screamed for him to come see. He keeps saying he would have loved the surprise package I had planned initially so I say go for it girl! GL

I love the Valentines idea it would make your day special and he would have time to celebrate with you before going back to work. I wouldn't lie about starting though is it possible to just say you don't know yet.. it would work with my husband lol. Congratulations and best wishes...

Congratualations sweetie! I'm so happy for you! I have been TTC for a couple years as well and I really think "this month might be it" and I would LOVE to be able to tell my dh on V-Day!! How romantic! If you can hold out, I would wait! If he asks about AF, I guess you would have to fib, but it's all worth it especially if, like you said, he's got to get up early for work and then work a long day. Valentines Day would be the perfect opportunity to celebrate and a day you will come to celebrate in a "more special" way every year! Best Wishes!!!
