Is there any safe anxiety medications that can be taken during pregnancy?
I have really bad anxiety and panic attacks. I stopped taking my meds when I found out I was pregnant Saturday actually. I was taking Klonopin and paxil both I hear isn't good. I see my pcp next week any suggestions as to what I can take. My last pregnancy was really tough the last trimester I was given Atarax and a small dosage of zoloft both A joke. However Im willing to suffer for the well being of my unborn;)

I'm not up to date with either of these medicines, but I had anxiety issues after a near death experience in hospital years ago. Until you can get your meds sorted out I thought I'd share a trick I learnt which really helped me. It's a style of yoga breathing which can help calm you down when you feel like the world is going to swallow you up. Breathe in for the count of 4, hold for the count of 7, breathe out to the count of 8. You can do this four times in a row if you need. Otherwise have you tried hypnotherapy, I only did it once but wow, one of the tricks they taught me there has stayed with me and is amazingly helpful. Congratulations, I wish you the best. :)
