Sign of premature labor?
I am 18 years old and 28 weeks pregnant with my first child, a boy! My OB says hes perfectly healthy, and his heartbeat is normal! Very active fetal movement. I got my belly measured for the first time last week and my OB said hes "not to big, not to small". Although hes healthy as can be i have been stressed out a lot, and noticed that ive been having extra discharge. I did some reasearch and read that it is normal to have more discharge during your third trimester BUT if its enough discharge to soak through your panties (which it is soaking through mine) to call your doctor and that it could be a sign of early labor. My mother told me to keep an eye on it because when she gave birth to my brother (her first child) he was born 2 months before the due date. I am going to call my doctor in the morning but i wanted to ask everyone on here to see if its a sign of premature labor? Thank you!

So this might not have anything to do with your case, but my cousin had this same problem with her son. She thought she was in early labor and leaking amniotic fluid. When she went to the doctor, it turns out that the baby was pressing on her bladder and what she was having was normal discharge mixed with urine that was leaking out slowly. She couldn't feel it, and didn't feel like she was weeing, but that's what it was. I just thought I'd share in case this was helpful.
