Question

Miscarriage and re-occurring Ovary Pain

I became pregnant in November last year (2014) and by the time I was 6 weeks I started to have a pain in my left side where I think my ovary is. The pain lasted 5 days, it was stronger the first three then lessening the last two. When the pain started to go away so did my pregnancy symptoms (i.e. Bloating, hunger, exhaustion, peeing, etc). My HCG levels were being monitored by my dr and we week from when my pain started they were down to zero and I started bleeding. She also said I did not have a cyst.
Now, I'm in the middle of my first cycle and am 2 days into my ovulation cycle and having that pain in my left side again. My husband and I haven't exactly been trying to get pregnant but also haven't been preventing it. We have had sex 3 times within the last 7 days, so I'm sure I could be getting pregnant again.
So, my questions are:
1) did this pain cause my miscarriage and is it causing an early one again?
2) has anyone else had this and what did you do?
Help!

Whatever caused the pain did not cause the miscarriage, I am quite certain. Most likely it was a chromosomal issue. I also had ovarian pain during early pregnancy caused by a large corpus luteum cyst; unfortunately, I miscarried too. Talk to your dr if the pain gets worse or really worries you.
