Question

How to keep a positve attitude during TWW or worse yet, after BFN?

I know this question has probably been asked a thousand times, I'm just hoping someone has a fresh idea! Anything to make me stop complaining about everyone I know who is getting pregnant without even trying... Or after one month of trying.... I need to stop being Debbie Downer! I'm usually a very happy and positive person but this process is wearing me down... Any positivity is greatly appreciated!

Its definitely not easy, thats for sure! I found that not expecting too much from the cycle and not symptom spotting, definitely made the BFN's easier to accept. I would also plan out how I wanted the next cycle to go, drugs/supplements I could take and doses, switching up bd patterns...just anything that made the next cycle even slightly different from the current one that didnt work. All-in-all, just do the best u can to stay positive. It sucks seeing people get pregnant after no trying at all, but u cant fault them for it either.
Keep ur chin up! Ur time will come and u'll appreciate it that much more!!
Good luck! =))

Thanks dakotagiurrl, I like the idea of not putting so much pressure on the current cycle and just looking forward to the next 'adventure'! We planned a Vegas vacation so I think we are going to take a month off from analyzing every little detail and just get back to bd when we feel like it... Not when my ovacue tells us to! I think joining this forum is already helping a ton, everyone is so supportive! Thank you!!!

I found that BFN got me down too... It really helped to have girl time with some o my friends to help get my mind off it. Stopped trying and worrying, and now my period is three days late! I havent bothered to test yet, because i simply dont feel pregnant. Im going out and enjoying life, and before you know it, you will be getting your BFP too!

Tww and Bfn is so hard. I need some advice on this myself. I started early last Friday after just finding out the clomid was working and I was just sure it was gonna be my month. Well I ended up crying all day Friday and half of Saturday. It was the first time in 6 years of trying for number 2 that I was super crushed and couldn't get a handle on the tears. I am thinking it was bc I had gotten my hopes up so much I usually try not to and try to not symptom check everything but it is hard. I think I will take the advice the others had and try to focus on something else to keep the expectations down.

I am finiding myself in an unexpectly positive mood today - I find myself looking forward to enjoying the undetermined amount of time before we conceive so my dh and I can just enjoy each other a little longer. I am appreciating every good night's rest and being on my own schedule.

I agree with dakotagurrl (as I usually do with her posts ;)). Just enjoy life. I had a miscarriage last month and it was one of the worst feelings I have ever had. So now, the hubby and I are trying to enjoy life. We are taking a trip to Canada at the end of the month and are going to "party it up." My hubby and family just keep telling me to relax and not think about it so much as our time will come. I'm a pregnancy test addict, that's for sure, but I haven't gotten into any of the BBT charting or anything like that because I don't want to go any crazier than I already am. I wish I had red blinking light that went off when I was ovulation, lol. Anyways, just enjoy life and BD because you want to, not because you feel like you have to.

You ladies are really helping me put things into perspective.... I need to be happy and thankful for the journey so far and be prepared for anything to happen. I know in My heart that things will happen when they are supposed to... "just keep swimming, just keep swimming" as Dori from Finding Nemo would say!

Bahahaha! As soon as I saw "just keep swimming" Dory's voice was in my head...theyre making a movie, Finding Dory...true story, 2016 it'll be out lol!
U'll be fine...chin up!
Malpal, where in Canada are u visiting? Bundle up, its frosty up here!! ;D

We're staying on Clifton Hill. We did it a few years ago and had a great time. Last time we met a Canadian couple and traveled the bars with them. You Canadians are wild. I was not feeling good the next day. The hubby says I can't do that this time, haha. We're only coming from western, NY so it's only ~hour+ drive.
