I was 8 days late back in Sept. I got all stoked thinking I was prego. I looked up all kinds of discussions from girls who got late bfps. Some people don't get them for days after af is due. Some don't get bfps until they are 6 weeks or more. And some in very rare cases never get a bfp with urine but have to have blood tests. This was not the case for me. I still don't know for sure what happened but I'm now pretty sure I had an anovulatory cycle. Cuz when af did arrive it came on slowly and was pretty light the whole time. When you have an anovulatory cycle your period can be late and light and it's because rather than ovulation setting your lp timer(mine is 13 days) your lining just gets too thick and sheds eventually. I had a positive opk and everything too. Maybe you're one of those rare cases with late bfps. But maybe you had an anovulatory cycle.

Thank you, yes I don't know my cycle was late only once but we were trying to concieve after our miscarrage and I was freaking out buying test left and right lol

Anovulatory cycles really suck. They feel like a total wasted month. It sounds like if you're getting some red in your cm today af may be trying or about to start. If it doesn't tho wait till your a week late and test again. Beyond that if you still get negatives and no af you'll either have to decide to wait longer or see your Dr. I was pissed when I realized I just hadn't ovulated. Total waste. But that's life I guess.
