Some women can experience painful ovulation. I do some of the time. If the pain is very bad, then call your Doctor and let them know. Clomid shouldn't cause pain like that, hun. Good luck!

I was on Clomid for a long time and had an issue with over stimulated ovaries. Some doctors just give you the prescription and tell you to have a nice life and that's what they did to me. It felt like my ovaries were going to explode. That is definitely not okay and you need to go see your doctor ASAP about it before you take anymore. That's my personal opinion. I'm not a doctor but I know what Clomid can do to your body.

Ive always had ovary/abdominal pain when taking ovarian stimulants. It's very normal, the whole point of the clomid is to increase the amount of estrogen to the follicle(s)...sometimes they end up growing larger than what they would "naturally"...it causes pain. Unless ur abdomen bloats up and ur in extreme pain, I wouldnt bother with a doctor or assuming OHSS...its 50mg of clomid, thats really not that bad.

When I am on clomid, I can definitely feel my o. It's never been anything to worry about. I start a few days before o being able to feel some slight ovary pain and then it stops a day or so after. I'm sure you'll be okay, but call the doctor if you are worried because you can have hyperstimulated ovaries on clomid.

Thanks everyone. The pain is totally gone today. So looking back it was definatly manageable just uncomfortable. I did have lots of EWCM which I was surprised because I heard Clomid dries you up.
So Question did Clomid work for any of you?

I got my BFP on round 5, with 150mg. If this is ur first cycle, it may not start to affect ur lining or cm until the 2nd or 3rd round...or a higher dose. Not everyone gets the same s/e from it. It ruined my cm and lining...buuut I also took high doses.
