Question

How late is too late to ovulate?

I've been testing every day since CD9 and all have been clearly negative. I tested today at CD 20 and got the darkest test line I've seen but still not darker or equal to the control line.
My clycles are very regular, is it possible I missed it? Or didn't ovulate at all? And could I still ovulate this cycle?

Depends on cycle length - how long are your cycles? I ovulate between CD19-20, however I have a longer cycle (35-36 days average) so no issues with luteal phase. If luteal phase is only 10-12 days or shorter, it could be an issue (ie. endometrial lining my not be able to sustain a pregnancy).

I am the same as Lindsay, or at least I was while TTC. My cycles were 32 days and I would ovulate on CD20 or CD 21. As long as your LP is 12+ days, you still have a good chance at pregnancy. If your cycles are longer like ours, it's fairly normal to ovulate that late into the cycle.

My cycle is averaging 27 days with my leutal phase averaging 12. Last month AF was 5 days early with extreme pain on the first day with seizure like symptoms, cramping of entire body and dizziness. Its the first time that's happened so maybe that has affected the cycle. Maybe it's time to see a Doctor. Thanks for the input!

I tested everyday from day 7 of my cycle and only got a positive opk on day 27! I've had positive OPK's now for the past 4 days. Keep testing - yours can still come.
