Question

Does Preseed facilitate pregancy or is it just an alternative to lube that might prevent pregnancy?

I understand that preseed is "TTC safe" but what I dont understand is if I don't normally need lube, would it help my chances of getting pregnant? Or is this just the best option when you do need to use lube?

It's there to help the sperm flow through your cervical fluid more efficiently. I use it, and you actually put it in this applicator tube and insert it in (like a tampon) and the lube goes closer to your cervix so the sperm can travel easier. I like it, and I get it off eBay and it's cheaper that way-plus she includes 20 OPK's and 10 HPT's with the PreSeed. It's a seller called "The Baby Wish"

Preseed is a sperm-friendly lube, I read that it can help if you're someone who doesn't really see a lot of cm, but not really necessary if you don't normally use it. Also, taking certain cough medicines (those designed to loosen mucous from your chest) can loosen up your cm, which sounds a lot less messy to me! I guess if you don't normally need it, then don't bother. Put the pennies in your baby fund instead :-)

I agree with miniray, if you have plenty of fertile mucus you don't need it. It won't increase your chances. GL!
