I bought those with the smiley face (70$!! :O ), then cheapies on the internet.
I much prefered the cheapies. They did the job, at a very low price.

I like the clearblue smiley face. Easy to read (smiley = it's time. empty circle = not ready). The price depends on where you buy them and which country you are in. I got mine at Costco in Canada and paid $50 for 20 test strips. The $$ store ones are also very good, but you have to read lines (is the test line darker or equal to the control line)

Good luck

2008 - Laparoscopy for endometriosis 4 years of TTC (I suspect endo is back due to symptoms but no doctor will beleive me) July 2012: referred to Fertility Clinic August 2012: Test results are back High FSH, Low AFC (could be caused by endo) As I though, the endometriosis is back (take that doctors, I was right, you were wrong) Male factor (perfect count, they are just too stubborn and too lazy to swim properly, LOLL) August 2012: Moving on to IVF

The clearblue advanced digital with smiley faces can be problematic. If you read peak fertility (solid smiley) you won't be able to test the next 2 days because the symbol stays on for that long. That's a problem when you get false positive results and need to continue testing. GL!

I like the clearblue fertility monitor sticks, which are the same as the advanced. I've been using them for years and never had an issue. I like that I can monitor both hormones. I vote CBA!! I also like my cheapie dip strips, bought those on ebay! =))

I love the clearblue with the smiley faces. I got the advanced with the blinky smiley for high fertility, solid for peak, and empty for low. I don't think they are hard to use at all. I bought two kits of 10 because then you get 2 monitors and that solves the pesky problem of not being able to test again after you get a solid smiley for 2 days. However, I temp too and I've NEVER gotten a solid smiley that was a false result. I always ovulate within 36 hours of the first solid smiley. That being said I did get some false "high" readings after I o'ed, but I turned out to be pregnant (ended in a cp, but that does explain the readings).

I use both the digital and the internet cheapies- honestly I prefer the cheapies- they do the same job as the expensive ones. But my internet cheapies have been positive when my digital is negative- and when my digital is positive the cheapies are negative. I have heard the cheapies are more reliable?

The wondfo strips (Aka "The cheapies") are horrible in my opinion. They were so hard to read, and took forever to get a line.

I use the Clear Blue Ovulation Predictor with the smiley faces. It makes it easy to tell yes or no. There's no uploading a photo and asking random strangers "Is this as dark as the control line, or just a little bit lighter?" - There's no guess work. Smiley face = sex.
