The contractions hurt yes. Start off small and get worse after epidural I didn't feel anything including my legs..

yes it does, it can hurt a LOT... and epidural doesn't work for everyone.

2008 - Laparoscopy for endometriosis 4 years of TTC (I suspect endo is back due to symptoms but no doctor will beleive me) July 2012: referred to Fertility Clinic August 2012: Test results are back High FSH, Low AFC (could be caused by endo) As I though, the endometriosis is back (take that doctors, I was right, you were wrong) Male factor (perfect count, they are just too stubborn and too lazy to swim properly, LOLL) August 2012: Moving on to IVF

I didn't have horribly painful contractions until I was a dilated to a 9, so I decided to go natural. It was really painful, but worth it. Every woman is different though. With my first I had an epidural and it didn't work at all. It did make my feet really cold and annoying though! Good luck with everything!

Oh yes. I was induced and it was painful the whole time until I got my epidural. Then I was in heaven!

Depends on if its natural or induced. Natural hurts (from what I hear) but its more of a buildup. Induced labour is horrible (been there twice), ur fine then wishing for death...all in a period of a cpl mins lol! We all labour differently tho...
