Question

How to determine cycle if I have irregular periods?

I have irregular menstrual cycles all the time. It's really difficult for me to determine my cycle when I don't get a period every month. Strangely I got my period last month on December 20th and this month of January on the 21st, that was a big surprise, given the fact that I am irregular and I got my period almost on the same day. How do I determine my cycle length in this situation? This is the first time that I ever see my period 2 consecutive months with one day apart. FYI: I'm trying to conceive :)

It is very hard to determine a cycle when you are irregular. The best way I think is to track temp and cervical fluid. That may help you know when you are ovulating or if you ovulated at all. Do you know why you have irregular periods? If you are ttc that might be a good thing to figure out so you can possibly get help at keeping them regular.
I have PCOS and irregular, sometimes I have to take Provera to keep my periods regular. I chart sometimes but life gets busy!
Good luck to you!
