My bf and i are trying to get pregnant.

We had sex on the 01/16/2015 and my sspected ovulation date was 01/18/2015 since then i have felt tingling of the breast feeling a bit queasy and a little abdominal cramps. Took a HPT 9 days before my menses is due Negative result. Was it too early and i have 5 days left for menses when can i test.
