Is it possible to get a negative blood test on 11 DPO and still be pregnant?

I'm either 10 or 11 DPO and I'm having a good amount of symptoms... but my HCG level was a 2... I'm just curious, could it have been too early?

generally implantation occurs between 6 and 12 dpo and then it takes a couple of days for the HCG to get into your system. Could just be too early. Fingers crossed :)
