Spotting for 4/5 days and some cramping instead of period, Negative HPT??

Instead of my period I have had light spotting for 4/5 days with mild cramping on & off, from CD 26 to CD 29. I have done three HPT all negative. I have loads of symptoms but none that exactly scream Pregnant? Its my second cycle after treatment for Ectopic pregnancy but 1st cycle was completely normal. any else here experiencing something similar and find out what it was??
