Mild cramping during early pregnancy is fairly common, if the cramping worsens or if you find you start bleeding and are changing a pad frequently I would call either your GP or midwife. Otherwise, congratulations and I wish you all the bestð???

My first pregnancy I had fairly intense period pains from the start right through my first trimester. They were so genuine I kept running to the bathroom sure I was bleeding but no. The first time round things are stretching that have never been stretched before. If you think you need a doctor don't hesitate but I do specifically remember stating to friends that I had no idea that pregnancy would actually hurt! :). Congratulations.

Are u sure those cramps are uterine and not bladder? The uterus wont stop cramping if u pee, but the bladder will. The way u described all that, really sounds like it was ur bladder. That being said, cramping is very normal in pregnancy, more so in early pregnancy, while everything adjusts to its new occupant. Monitor the patterns of when u seem to cramp vs how soon after u use the toilet (rectal cramping is easily mistaken for uterine as well), and if there's any bleeding, see a doctor. Idk that I'd hit a hospital unless its an emergency.
Best of luck! =))

I second everything Dakotagurrl said.

2008 - Laparoscopy for endometriosis 4 years of TTC (I suspect endo is back due to symptoms but no doctor will beleive me) July 2012: referred to Fertility Clinic August 2012: Test results are back High FSH, Low AFC (could be caused by endo) As I though, the endometriosis is back (take that doctors, I was right, you were wrong) Male factor (perfect count, they are just too stubborn and too lazy to swim properly, LOLL) August 2012: Moving on to IVF
