5 weeks after delivering my son & 6 positive hpts - negative blood test- anyone else go through
I delivered my son on December 23rd, started to get intimate with hubby a week later (was almost done bleeding) and now this week I've gotten 6 positive hpts but the blood tests were negative at the beginning of the week. I had a positive ovulation test along with the first two hots but now opk is negative and hpt is still positive (using first response). My symptoms 20x worse than they were when I was pregnant with my son, and doc has me coming into the office in two weeks to do another.blood test and urine test. Has anyone.gone through something like this????? I'm going nuts I feel pregnant I believe I am pregnant but the blood test says no...

My hubby and I started having sex again about 3 weeks postpartum and I was so paranoid. There was one time of us not being safe but once is all it takes so I was freaking out lol. Got my first postpartum period at 7 weeks and that answered my question haha! I took an HPT a week ago just to be sure and mine was negative. I'm pretty sure that by 5 weeks postpartum your HCG should be gone by then.. sounds like a new pregnancy. If your tests are getting darker I'd say yes, if they're getting lighter then you could have left over HCG still.
